Nissan Note Door Lock Buzzing

When remote locking the doors on our 2007 nissan note 1 4 se there is a loud buzzing rasping noise which seems to come from the drivers door.

In some cars a door lock actuator becomes noisy and produces a squeaking or buzzing noise when the power door locks are locked or unlocked. We have owned a nissan note 1 4se 2007 for about 3 months and throughout this time when locking the doors remotely there is a very loud buzzing noise which comes from the drivers door doors do lock and unlock ok. If the electric motor or the mechanism inside the door lock actuator wears out the door lock may lock or unlock slowly or work sometimes but not all the time.

Is this an intentional audible confirmation of locking or is it a potential problem. Nissan note 1 4se 2007 door lock noise good or bad maplesi. Have owned the car for 3 months and it has not changed at all in this time.
