The rear hatch is fully functional.

No it s a rental but all other buttons work.

Hello 2016 sienna power sliding doors will not open or close using inside buttons or key fob.

My toyota sienna 2004 power sliding door stopped to work after i tried to open it in cold winter day.
It closed and can not open it with fob overhead console switch handles etc.
Step 2 raise the hood of the van and disconnect the negative battery cable with a wrench.

This happens when the power sliding door isn t able to latch on properly due to something blocking it.
Press the sliding door control button on the sienna s dashboard so that the red line on the button is illuminated.
The last button on the overhead console will prevent the power sliding door for operating via the door handles and the button on the b pillar.
The doors will still power operate via the key fob.
And i ve confirmed the off button is not activated.
